What a wonderful day the Lord blessed us with at CAMP SONshine 2026! Children, families, volunteers, and church members gathered together for a day filled with worship, Bible teaching, games, crafts, fellowship, and fun, all centered on learning how to follow God’s leading and shine His light in a dark world.This year’s VBS was directed by Robin Strickland and Amy Ely, along with a faithful team of volunteers who worked tirelessly to make the day both exciting and spiritually meaningful for every child who attended.Our theme Scriptures came from Judges 7:16-22 and Exodus 13:17-22. The children learned how God used Gideon’s small army carrying trumpets, pitchers, and torches to accomplish a great victory. They also learned how God faithfully led the children of Israel through the wilderness with a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night.Our prayer is that every child who attended will continue to follow God’s leading, trust His promises, and let their light shine brightly for the Lord.
