Spiritual Rhythm
Spiritual Rhythm 2 Corinthians 3:18;Psalm 37:4The Christian life has often described as a pilgrimage. Do you know what a pilgrimage is? It’s a journey to a sacred place. The sacred spiritual place to which we journey is not heaven. That “sacred place” is the completion of our calling. It’s the finish line, where we have the opportunity to hear Jesus say, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” Every day is another step in the journey. How do you know that you’re moving in the right direction? Identify those things that are most important to you, things that are consistent with what you know to be God’s will. Use them to develop a statement of purpose that summarizes where you are going and how your life will serve others. And review this list every day, making sure that each item is included in your daily schedule.
