WHO IS MY NEIGHBOR?
WHO IS MY NEIGHBOR? The Good Samaritan — A Children’s Bible Lesson
Ages : 5-12 (Adaptable for 2-4) Luke 10:25–37 (KJV) Who is your neighbor? Is it just the person who lives next door, or could it be someone you have never met?
In this exciting and interactive children’s Bible lesson, we journey down the dusty road from Jerusalem to Jericho to discover one of the most powerful lessons Jesus ever taught—the parable of the Good Samaritan. When a helpless traveler was attacked and left beside the road, two religious men saw him but walked away. Then an unexpected hero appeared! The Good Samaritan stopped, showed compassion, cared for the wounded man, and made sure he received the help he needed .Our church family can meet and teach all ages at our church at Bethel crossroads Baptist church Through this unforgettable Bible story, children discover three important truths: I. LOVE SEES THE NEED! II. LOVE STOPS TO HELP! III. LOVE DOES NOT PICK FAVORITES! With engaging questions, memorable illustrations, and a little laughter along the way, children learn that being a good neighbor means showing kindness, compassion, and mercy—even to people who are different from us. Most importantly, this lesson reminds us that we cannot earn salvation through good deeds. Jesus Christ demonstrated the greatest love of all when He died for our sins and rose again! Jesus said in Luke 10:37 (KJV): “Go and do thou likewise.” This lesson is especially designed for children ages 5–12, but its message will encourage the entire family. Parents and grandparents are invited to watch or listen with their children and continue the conversation at home. Remember: You don’t have to be a superhero to show love
