Jesus Saves
Jesus Saves. Acts 2:22–24, 32–41 KJV In this lesson from Acts 2:22–24, 32–41, Peter preached on the Day of Pentecost and boldly declared the truth about Jesus Christ. He explained that Jesus was sent by God, proven by His miracles, wonders, and signs. Though sinful men crucified Him, His death was part of God’s plan, and God raised Him from the dead.
Peter also taught that Jesus is both Lord and Messiah. He is not only the promised Savior, but also the risen and exalted Lord who has all authority. When the people heard this message, they were convicted in their hearts and asked what they needed to do.
Peter answered clearly: repent and believe in Jesus Christ. Those who trusted in Him received forgiveness of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit. This lesson reminds us that the gospel is simple and powerful: Jesus died, Jesus rose again, and Jesus saves all who trust in Him.
