Lesson 8 – GROWING MY CHILD…
Lesson 8 – GROWING MY CHILDREN FOR GOD’S GLORY Ephesians 6:4 KJV This lesson is about the daily battle every Christian man faces in his mind, heart, and walk with God. The world is pulling harder than ever before, and with phones, social media, television, and temptation everywhere, Satan is trying to distract men, weaken families, and pull believers away from holiness. But God has called us to live different, think different, and walk different.Paul said in Romans 12:2, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…” That means a godly man cannot let the world shape his thinking. The battle starts in the mind. Whatever controls the mind will eventually control the life. A man who stays in God’s Word, prayer, and obedience will walk with wisdom and strength.hen in 2 Corinthians 6:17–18, God says, “Come out from among them, and be ye separate…” God never called His people to blend into sin and compromise. He called us to stand apart, live clean, and guard what enters our hearts and homes. A godly man chooses holiness over worldly pleasure because he knows compromise always leads to trouble. This lesson also reminds us that spiritual maturity does not happen by accident. A good man is not a perfect man—but a surrendered man. According to Psalms 37:23, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD.” God directs the man who is willing to obey Him daily. As men, fathers, and leaders, we are also reminded from Ephesians 6 that we have responsibilities inside our homes:
• Don’t provoke our families through anger and harshness.
• Train them through love, discipline, and godly example.
• Teach them the Word of God faithfully.
