As we align our desires with God’s will and seek His purposes, we can trust in His promises and experience the transformative power of prayer. May we all endeavor to abide in Christ and live lives that glorify Him.Knowing who you are in Christ — knowing that you have been given a new nature and made into a new creation — is essential to living an effective Christian life. Knowing who you are gives you the ability to count correctly — to reckon yourself dead to sin and alive to Christ, because knowing leads to doing.Armed with this knowledge we greet each day, and only this day. We greet this moment, and only this moment. We live it in the presence of Jesus. If you want to win the battle of consistency, make sure that the next thing you do, you do in God’s presence, and with his help.Developing the habit of consistency comes to this: doing the next thing you do in God’s presence, with his help.
