Samson the Playboy Judges 14:1-20;15:1-20Samson’s Two Spiritual Flaws. In the end he stands out as a man who wasted his life on things that didn’t matter. Although he started out with every spiritual advantage, he threw it all away. Everything he did, he did right up front. In fact, he had enough skeletons to fill two closets and enough dirty linen to keep a laundromat going 24 hours a day.
That was Samson—larger than life, a he-man with a she-weakness.
He was a hero, a freedom fighter, a troublemaker, a playboy and a miscreant whose life was dedicated to God before he was born.
His story is one of the most amazing, perplexing, contradictory bafflement’s in all the Bible. He should have been a godly man … but he wasn’t.
