Now, I’m seeing the Sunset. 2 Tim.4:6-8 Somewhere, sometime, we come to the end of a busy life. Things slow down. Others are now doing with the same energy what we used to do in the church. The time has come to step aside. It seems such a short time ago that we became a Christian. How swiftly the time has passed! It seems so little has been done. Suddenly we find ourselves at the place we somehow thought only came to others.
The Lord has granted us a long life, with many opportunities, to serve Him. Now he wants us to watch and wait with great delight in our closing years. It is amazing how c1early some older servants of the Lord see things in their last days. As we look at the sunset of our earthly day we do so with great anticipation of the promise of His personal appearing.
