WHEN YOUR ACTIONS CAUSE AN I..
WHEN YOUR ACTIONS CAUSE AN INTERRUPTION.Exodus 2:11–22; 3:5–10 (KJV)How will you respond when your own actions interrupt your life? This lesson looks at Moses’ early life and shows how God works even through the interruptions we create for ourselves. When we act in the flesh, God doesn’t abandon us. Instead, He restores, redirects, and recalls us to His purpose.1.When We Intervene in the Flesh(Exodus 2:11–15)Moses stepped ahead of God’s timing and took matters into his own hands, resulting in fear, failure, and fleeing for his life. Sometimes our choices bring consequences that derail our plans. These self-made interruptions remind us of our need for God’s wisdom and restraint.2.When God Interrupts to Restore Us(Exodus 2:16–22)Even in Midian—far from where Moses thought he should be—God graciously worked to rebuild his life. Through new relationships, responsibilities, and rhythms, God restored Moses’ character and prepared his heart. Our failures don’t disqualify us; God uses the quiet seasons to heal and shape us.3.When God Recalls Us to His Purpose(Exodus 3:5–10)After years in the wilderness, God called Moses back to the mission he was always meant to fulfill. The burning bush was God’s reminder that His purpose still stood. In the same way, God can interrupt our detours with renewed calling, giving fresh clarity and courage to step into His plan.Even when our own actions create the interruption, God can redeem it. He confronts our missteps, restores our hearts, and calls us back to His purpose. What began as a setback becomes a stepping-stone when we surrender our story to Him.
