Faith Ephesians 4:11-16..
Faith Ephesians 4:11-16 Study_08 Christians should be growing in their faith. This growth can be measured and should be sought after with diligence.every believer’s gift is Christ-centered. Note the words, “He gave.” It is Christ and Christ alone who gives spiritual gifts to men. Men cannot work up the gifts, nor give the gifts to other men. Christ alone possesses the spiritual gifts to give to men. Five gifts are mentioned here.every believer’s gift has a threefold purpose. Note a significant fact: the five gifts described above are gifts that involve speech or proclamation. For the past seven lessons, we have focused our attention on defining our faith-identifying those beliefs of which our faith consists. Beginning with this lesson, we will shift our focus to the area of demonstrating our faith. We will do this by identifying the behaviors which our faith produces. We have established that our faith is a body of doctrine or a set of beliefs. We have been learning of “the faith which was once delivered unto the saints” (Jude 3). Beliefs always produce behavior; in other words, behaviors flow from our beliefs. Are you growing in the measure of your faith? Are you a more serving, constant, sincere Christian today than you were yesterday, or even last year?
What do you need to incorporate into your daily life
to grow and become the Christian God wants you to be?
Do you need to give your attention to a spiritual leader, or be around sharpening relationships? Do you need to begin incorporating a scriptural diet into your daily routine? Look at your schedule and determine that you will put “growing in faith” as the top priority!
