Jesus Matters
Jesus Matters. Colossians 1:15–22 KJV [Jesus is God, and no one has done what Jesus has done.] In a world where many people question truth and the importance of faith, this lesson reminds us why Jesus truly matters. In Colossians 1:15–22, the Apostle Paul teaches that Jesus Christ is not just a great teacher or prophet—He is God revealed, the Creator of all things, and the One who holds everything together.
Paul explains that Jesus existed before creation and has authority over all things in heaven and earth. Through His death on the cross, Jesus accomplished what no one else could do—He reconciled sinful humanity to God. Because of His sacrifice, those who were once separated from God can now be forgiven, restored, and brought into a right relationship with Him.
This passage reminds believers that our message to the world is centered on the person and work of Jesus Christ. In a post-Christian culture that often minimizes or misunderstands Him, we must clearly share who Jesus truly is and what He has done.
The truth remains simple yet powerful: Jesus is God, and no one has done what Jesus has done.
