Satan is pictured as a great dragon defeated in a war with Michael the archangel and “his angels.” How does Satan work his deceit? He wants us to see things from our distorted human perspective rather than with our hearts devoted to the honor and glory of our Creator. The unfortunate truth is we believe the enemy’s lies on a regular basis. He is crafty and we are easy targets when we are unprepared. It comes down to whether our focus is on the flesh—what we want—or on the Spirit—the things God wants. God said?” Believing his lies can destroy our spiritual vitality. We must know our enemy’s tactics— his deceitfulness and accusations—and always return to the reality of our faith and the forgiveness we have through Jesus Christ.
