This series Vision for 2020 is preached to help you gain vision for the coming year. However, this isn’t a church vision statement but, rather, a vision for spiritual growth. Make 2020 a year when you are focused on Jesus, making him the center of your life. This series will look at key passages in both the Old and New Testament and explore some ways we can place Jesus at the center of our everyday living.
Did you know that about 60 percent of us make a New Year’s resolution? (I won’t tell you how few of us keep them.) Making a resolution isn’t necessarily a bad thing; the new year is an opportunity for people to seek improvement in their life—improvement in health, finances, relationships, even career changes.
Everyone has a calling, but that calling might not be their job.
Our work should be an extension of our faith and worship.
