Treasures of Darkness
This is a series about Psalm 23.Death may come suddenly or slowly, but there is no doubt it is coming. The thought of death is a powerful thought! It helps us to realize the things in life that hold real meaning. As God’s children, we will find comfort at the time of death in the presence of our Shepherd. We will not go through a valley of darkness, but the Lord Jesus will be with us, and “in him is no darkness at all.” We have no need to fear this mysterious event called death, for our Savior has already walked through death’s door and won the victory over death, hell, and the grave! Death is a divider. It divides us from the littleness in life. It separates us from things that should not trouble us and helps us to put priorities in place. We have not yet reached death, but we know it is coming; we see its shadow. Our Savior has already gone through the door of death. I will be with you.
