How do you define success? If you are going to achieve success, you first must know what it is you are aiming to achieve!

Our human approach to success tends to be: here’s my goal. God’s approach is: here’s the person I want you to be, here’s what I want you to do, and here’s how to be that type of person and how to do that task.

It is in being a godly person and then obeying God in His directives that we find success as Christians.

Our life as Christians is not to be wrapped up in what we possess, earn, or own. Life for Christians is wrapped up in who we are in Christ Jesus.

Is there a contradiction between being a success and living a godly life? Many people seem to think so. Those who promote success talk about making plans. The Bible, however, says, “Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble” Matt. 6:34.
Those who advocate success talk about exercising self–control and taking charge of one’s destiny.
