The If’s,and’s,But’softheBible

Series: The If’s, And’s, But’s of the Bible.
The If’s ,And’s and But’s of the Bible is a series about idiom or an idiomatic expression’s with a group of words which when taken together, has a different, figurative meaning than that of the individual words which make it up. The word “If” is used in connection to the Promises of God. That tells us that often there is a condition set on God’s Promises. God says, “If’s you will do this, than I will do that.” And everyone of God’s “If’s point us to some of those wonderful promises that belong to us.”So there are the IF’S of the Bible, which speak to the Promises of God. The AND of the Bible, which speak to the Provision of God. That little conjunction word “AND ties together some of God’s great provisions that He has for us. The “BUTS” speak to the Providence of God. Rom.5:8, “BUT GOD demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” The Bible has the answers through the simple express’s of Life in ifs, ands,& buts.
