The Living Cement04
The Living Cement.Ephesians 2:22, which says, “In him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.” This passage reveals a powerful truth: as believers, we are being actively and intentionally built together by God into a spiritual house, a place where His presence dwellThe metaphor of living cement illustrates how God’s Spirit unites us—each of us a living stone—into a strong, eternal foundation. Unlike ordinary cement that hardens and becomes static, the cement we are built with is living and dynamic, driven by the Holy Spirit. This living foundation enables us to grow, be strengthened, and continually be shaped according to God’s purpose.Throughout the sermon, we reflect on the importance of unity and how we, as members of the body of Christ, are being joined together to reflect God’s glory in the world. The message challenges us to recognize our role in this spiritual building project and to embrace our place in the larger body of believers.By grounding ourselves in God’s presence and purpose, we can stand firm as a unified structure, a living testimony of God’s eternal foundation. The sermon calls us to be intentional about living in harmony, supporting one another, and allowing the Holy Spirit to shape us into a dwelling place for God’s glory
