Mending Broken Hearts Micah 6:1-8;Deuteronomy 10:12-13Just like any relationship, there are times when we drift apart. There are times when we allow hard feelings and resentment and failed expectations to build up and sabotage our fellowship with our heavenly father. When that happens, he calls us back to him.
This is what we discover in Micah 6. God is calling his people back to him. He is making an effort to restore the relationship, and he’s asking them to do the same.I believe America’s greatest threat is not from without but from within.We are our enemy, and I am convinced that God is displeased with us as a nation.God is asking us to do Three things to mend our Broken Hearts.Heartfelt Communication. verse 1-2.Honest Calculation. verse 3-5.Humble Compliance. Verse 6-8What does the LORD require of you? To act justly.To love mercy.To walk humbly with God.They were to trust the LORD and acknowledge Him as the source of their lives as they walked throughout life day by day. In addition, they were to constantly seek His mercy and forgiveness.
