When the Dragon Strikes
When the Dragon Strikes. [Breaking the Stronghold of Darkness]Isaiah 9:1–7 KJV a prophetic message calling the Church to awaken in an hour when hell itself has declared war against truth, purity, and light. From Isaiah’s prophecy to Christ’s fulfillment, God reveals that no matter how deep the night becomes, the Light will always find a way to shine.Isaiah 9 paints a picture of a people walking in thick darkness—defeated, deceived, and bound—but “upon them hath the light shined.” That Light is Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, who pierces the veil of sin and shatters every demonic stronghold.Today, that same darkness has risen again in our generation. The dragon of Revelation 12 still wages war against the saints, and the spirit of Jezebel (Revelation 2:20–23) still seeks to silence prophetic voices. When a godly leader like Charlie Kirk is attacked, it is not merely a cultural moment—it is a spiritual signal. The dragon has struck at the Church, attempting to intimidate the Body of Christ. But what Satan means for evil, God will turn into a trumpet for revival. This message declares that when the dragon strikes—when evil appears to triumph—God’s Light rises higher. We are called not to retreat in fear, but to rise in faith; not to curse the darkness, but to command it to flee in the Name of Jesus. Just as the prophecy waited more than seven centuries to find fulfillment in Christ’s ministry in Galilee, so every word of God still stands sure today. It is time for the Church to heed 2 Chronicles 7:14, humble itself, and cry out for the healing of our land. It is time to break every stronghold of pride, sin, fear, and compromise. It is time to take up the armor of light.
