When Solomon became king of Israel, God offered to give him anything he wanted–anything. Solomon asked for wisdom. So, God made him the wise. Solomon wrote several books in the Bible–one of them is Ecclesiastes. It’s a message series that’s literally about nothing.
Learn how pursuing everything can lead to–well, nothing. Solomon chases after everything possible in life–power, possessions, pleasure, knowledge. He had it all and tried it all, and in the end concluded that all was nothing without God. Life without God is meaningless. However, Solomon points out that pursuing the one right thing can lead to a life you never imagined.
