What the world saw as hopeless, heaven saw as redeemable.
Like that man, many today carry invisible chains—haunting memories, regrets, and losses that whisper from the past. But Psalm 34:18 reminds us, “The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart.” Christ draws close to those who feel furthest gone.And when Jesus speaks His word of peace—John 14:27—”Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you”—the restless soul finds rest. The haunted become healed. The broken come home.
