The Instructions for Missions. Acts 1:8This scripture records our Lord’s last meeting with His disciples while He was here on earth. He is preparing to ascend back into Heaven to sit down at the right hand of God. Before He leaves, He commands and commissions His men to reach the world with His message. He reminds them of what should be the central focus of their ministry. He reminds them that they are to keep the Instructions for Missions. THERE ARE FOUR AGENTS IN GOD’S PLAN OF REDEMPTION. 1. God – Who provides salvation. 2.The Sinner – Who calls out for salvation 3. The Goer – Who takes the message of salvation to the unreached. 4.The Sender – Who provides the support, financial and prayer, to send the goer with the message of salvation. God Wants Everyone to Be Saved. God Has Even Delayed the Coming of Christ So That Others Might Be Saved. God Hears the Cry of Every Penitent Heart. God’s Answer Will Be Immediate. The only plan that God has for reaching the lost is to send people to win people. Missionaries are not asking for favors or charity but for PARTNERS to invest in the lost of this world. They are not seeking your left-overs but the very best that you have to invest in eternity.
