Being Concerned for Others04
Being Concerned for Others. Matthew 14:35-36 KJV In this powerful passage, we see the heart of Jesus revealed through His compassion and care for the hurting. As soon as people recognized Him, they brought all who were diseased, believing that just touching the hem of His garment could make them whole—and they were healed.HOW FAR ARE YOU WILLING TO GO TO GET SOMEONE TO JESUS?
1. A Portrait of People We Must Pursue
The sick, the broken, the overlooked—these are the ones Jesus went out of His way to reach. In today’s world, they still exist all around us. We’re called not just to notice them, but to intentionally pursue them with Christ’s love.
2.The Prompting That Sparks Passion
Compassion isn’t passive. Jesus was moved by the needs around Him. When the Holy Spirit stirs our hearts with concern for others, it should ignite a passion within us to act—to pray, to reach out, to serve.
3.The Practice That Proves Our Passion
True concern leads to action. Jesus didn’t just feel for people—He touched the untouchable and healed the hopeless. As His followers, our love must be visible and active. Our lives should prove the grace we proclaim.
Let today be the day we stop being passive Christians and start becoming passionate carriers of grace—touching lives, healing wounds, and showing the love of Christ to a world in need.
