Trusting God in Times of Change 04[Embracing the New Season]Isaiah 43:18-19; Proverbs 3:5-6; Philippians 4:6-7 KJV Change is never easy, but it is often God’s way of ushering us into something better. In this fourth message of the “Seasons of Renewal” series, Pastor Darrell Bailey calls believers to place their complete confidence in God when life shifts, doors close, and new chapters begin. From Isaiah 43:18–19, the Lord speaks: “Remember ye not the former things… Behold, I will do a new thing.” God reminds His people that the past, while precious, cannot define the future. He is still the God who makes “a way in the wilderness” and “rivers in the desert.” Every ending in God’s plan is the beginning of something miraculous.Proverbs 3:5–6 teaches that trust is not partial—it’s total. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart.” When the path before us bends and twists, we must lean not on our own understanding, but on the everlasting arms of our Savior. Trusting God means surrendering control, releasing fear, and allowing His hand to guide every step. And in Philippians 4:6–7, Paul reminds us that peace is the companion of trust: “Be careful for nothing… and the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” When we pray instead of panic, and worship instead of worry, God’s peace becomes the anchor that steadies us through transition.Through stirring illustrations and Spirit-anointed application, Pastor Bailey urges the church to embrace the new season with trust, courage, and expectation—knowing that the same God who led them through yesterday’s storms will guide them through tomorrow’s sunrise.
