Series: Outlasting the Darkness
This series examines Jesus’ teachings on the end times and offers a Christian response to suffering, persecution, and tribulation. It about how the tough survives tough times. Jesus made it crystal clear that God is on our side, doing everything possible to save us. Somewhat surprisingly, Jesus selected 12 apprentices, aka disciples, with the ultimate purpose of carrying on His mission following His departure. This meant that everything, (really, everything) had to be re-centered and reset. One of the twelve chosen to record and implement this “reset” was a former tax collector-Matthew. For centuries people have been saying “We’re living in the last generation.” I don’t know if we are living in the last generation–and neither does anyone else, including the prophecy experts. But I do know this: Jesus is coming again, and when he does, I want to be ready.
