In this study, we will deal with the topic of “confidence.” The word “confidence” involves several meanings or areas. The book of Proverbs begins with the wise words of a father and ends with the wise words of a mother. “My son,” said the father in Proverbs 1:8. “My son,” said the mother in Proverbs 31:2. Three Areas of Confidence in a Mothers Life.
1. The confidence of conviction, trust, or faith. v.1-9 This is when you put your confidence, your dependence or trust in someone like the Lord.
2. The confidence of concealment. v.10-16 This is when you keep the secrets that others have shared with you.
3. The confidence of courage or certainty. v.17-31 This is when you have confidence to do something you want to do, or feel certain about the outcome of a matter.This topic is an important one because it affects so many areas of our lives each day.
