Be a Man: With Wisdom. 1 Kings 2:2;Lk.12:14-21;1 Cor. 2:6-7 God’s wisdom is only for those who seek to be perfect (Mature) before God. The word “perfect” (teleioi) means finished, complete. It means fully developed, grown, mature. It means to reach one’s end. The person who longs for heaven and seeks to reach his end by being perfect before God is the person who focuses his life upon the wisdom of God. The wisdom of God is foolishness to them that perish, but to us who seek to be perfect (the saved) it is the power of God.Wisdom isn’t what you know, it how you live.Be a man who is wise. Look at life through Gods eyes and not the world’s eyes.Be a man of obedience. Listen to God during your prayer time. Start each day ASKING God what he wants and then obey Him and do it.Be a man who seeks to please God. Many people are concerned about what others think of them; don’t be concerned about what others say.Everything you need in order to live your life is found in your relationship with him. His power is the power you need. His promise is the promise to live for. His presence is the presence that fills your life each and every day.
