Knowing Jesus is a series about If you were asked to introduce Jesus to someone who had never heard of him, who knew nothing about him, what would you tell them?
This series is designed as an introduction to the person of Jesus Christ — his eternal existence, his life on earth, his teaching, his miracles, and, of course, his death and resurrection.
To know him, and become like him.

This should be the goal of all who come to Jesus.

It is not for us to spin Jesus into our likeness, but to conform ourselves into his likeness. To know him, as he is made known to us in Scripture.

For this reason, here’s what I encourage you to do for the next 40 days.
Begin each day with a few minutes alone with Jesus, in the gospels.
Sit down each morning in your most comfortable chair, with a cup of coffee, and read for five or ten minutes from Matthew, Mark, Luke or John. Pick a gospel and work your way through it, one story at a time.
