There are two kinds of peace that God gives.First, there is peace with God. Man is separated and alienated from God because of sin. It is man’s sin—his evil and lawlessness—that causes so much restlessness and disturbance in his heart and life. But there is an answer: the atonement, that is, reconciliation with God. This was seen in the Burnt Offering .Second, there is the peace of God. Once we have made peace with God, the peace of God begins to fill our spirits. God’s peace settles within us and to give us the peace and fellowship.God makes is clear in Leviticus 3 that our fellowship with God, our communion with God, is experienced only by the shedding of the blood of a perfect substitutionary sacrifice. the sweet aroma of the sacrifice pleased the LORD. God accepted the person seeking more peace and fellowship with Him. God fulfilled His promise: the person was filled with God’s presence and experienced more and more of God’s peace and fellowship.
