WHEN TRUTH BECOMES OPTIONAL. [The Dangerous Drift of a Deceived Generation] 2 Timothy 4:3–4 (KJV) In a world where opinions often replace God’s Word, the Apostle Paul warns that people will eventually reject sound doctrine and choose teachers who tell them only what they want to hear. This message reveals the danger of abandoning biblical truth, the consequences of spiritual deception, and the urgent need to remain faithful to the unchanging Word of God. Jesus Christ is the Truth, and only those who build their lives upon Him will stand firm in a generation that has lost its moral compass. Paul reminds Timothy that his ministry is performed before Almighty God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will one day judge every person. Therefore, a minister’s responsibility is not to entertain people but to faithfully proclaim God’s Word whether it is popular or unpopular. What is the greatest truth you will ever hear? God loves you so much that He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for your sins, to be buried, and to rise again the third day, so that everyone who repents and believes in Him can have everlasting life. The greatest lie is not simply one told by another person. The greatest lie is believing that you can reject Jesus Christ today and somehow be ready to meet Him tomorrow. The choice you make about Jesus Christ is the most important decision you will ever make, because it will determine where you spend eternity.
