Achievement over the World’s Culture. 2 Timothy 1:1-10 Paul speaks of the gift and power of God that “the spirit of fear” (2 Timothy 1:7)does not come from God and that we should not be ashamed of our testimony of Jesus Christ.Paul was writing from prison and his last letter.Paul offers a personal challenge to Timothy to keep following Jesus no matter the sacrifice and risk. The letter also reminds Timothy to maintain faith and hope in Jesus’ resurrection and raise up faithful leaders who will teach the good news about Jesus.We are in the middle of a Transformational change in the church.To over come the Achievement of the World’s Culture we are to use the Achievements of real faith, loving family and Purposeful Future.We are to lead the Church in Learning and not be afraid to change with an adaptive capacity of shifting values, habits,and behaviors on a biblical proportion brought on by a changing world.We are to lead the Church in Learning to reveal the presence and character of God.
