There are places in this world where millions of people have never heard the name of Jesus Christ. Entire villages have never seen a Bible. Many have never met a Christian. Some have never heard a clear presentation of the Gospel even one time.
This part of the world is commonly known as the 10/40 Window—the region stretching across North Africa, the Middle East, and much of Asia between 10 and 40 degrees north latitude. It contains some of the largest populations on earth and is home to many of the least-reached people groups.
These are not merely statistics.
These are fathers and mothers…
sons and daughters…
children and grandparents…
people created in the image of God who desperately need to hear that Jesus Christ died for their sins, was buried, and rose again the third day.
Many missionaries faithfully labor in these difficult places. Some serve where churches are illegal. Others quietly share Christ in areas where persecution is severe. Many work for years before seeing even a handful of people come to faith in Christ.
That is why our prayers matter.
We May Never Go… But We Can Pray.
Not everyone is called to move across the world.
But every Christian is called to pray.
Prayer reaches places airplanes cannot.
Prayer opens doors governments cannot close.
Prayer strengthens missionaries when no one else sees their burdens.
Prayer prepares hearts before the Gospel is ever preached.
Perhaps someone living thousands of miles away is waiting for the very answer to prayer that God wants to give through His people.
Bethel Crossroads Family…
What if every member of our church prayed every day for just two countries in the 10/40 Window?
Imagine hundreds of prayers rising to Heaven every single week.
Pray that:
- God would protect missionaries and their families.
- More laborers would answer God’s call.
- National pastors would be strengthened.
- Bibles would be translated and distributed.
- Doors would open where they are presently closed.
- Government leaders would allow greater religious freedom.
- Hearts would be softened to receive the Gospel.
- Entire villages would come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
Our prayers may be offered from little Taylorsville, Georgia…
…but our God hears them in Heaven and is able to answer them in every nation on earth.
Remember the Great Commission
Jesus did not tell His church to reach only our neighborhood.
He commanded us:
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…”

While we continue reaching Bartow County, supporting missions, preaching through Sermonaudio, and sharing the Gospel through bcbchurch.org, let us never forget those who have never had the opportunity to hear.
A Church That Prays Can Change the World
History has shown that every great missionary movement has been preceded by praying people.
Revival begins on our knees.
Missions begin in our hearts.
Souls are reached when God’s people refuse to stop praying.
At Bethel Crossroads Baptist Church, may we become known not only as a church that believes the Bible, but as a church that faithfully prays for the nations.
Every day…
Every family…
Every generation…
Until every tribe, every tongue, every people, and every nation has had the opportunity to hear the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Challenge This Month
We invite every member of Bethel Crossroads Baptist Church to join us in a daily prayer commitment.
Each day, choose two countries in the 10/40 Window and pray specifically for them. Ask God to send laborers, protect missionaries, open closed doors, and bring many people to saving faith in Jesus Christ.
Never underestimate what God can do through the faithful prayers of His people. One church in a small Georgia community can help impact nations around the world because we serve a God whose power knows no borders.
From Taylorsville…to the ends of the earth…let us pray until the whole world hears!
