Overview / Summary
The Love Dare Bible Study is a Christian-based relationship program inspired by the book The Love Dare by Alex Kendrick and Stephen Kendrick. It’s designed to strengthen marriages (or committed relationships) through intentional acts of love rooted in biblical principles.
At its core, the study:
- Focuses on unconditional love, not feelings-based love
- Teaches that love is a choice and discipline, not just emotion
- Encourages selflessness, forgiveness, patience, and commitment
- Uses scripture to guide daily actions and reflection
The structure usually follows a 40-day journey, where each day introduces:
- A specific “dare” (action step)
- A Bible verse
- A short teaching or reflection
- A practical challenge to apply immediately
It’s often done individually or as a couple, but many churches use it as a group Bible study.

Purpose of This Study
Marriage is one of God’s greatest gifts to mankind, but every marriage requires love that is continually growing. The world often teaches that love is simply a feeling, an emotion, or physical attraction. God’s Word teaches something much deeper. Biblical love is a daily choice to honor Christ by serving, forgiving, encouraging, and caring for one another.
This forty-day journey is designed to help husbands and wives grow closer to Jesus Christ while growing closer to each other. Every lesson is built upon the unchanging truth of God’s Holy Word, the King James Bible. Throughout these forty days, you will discover that lasting love is not built upon perfect people but upon a perfect Savior.
Whether you are newly married, have celebrated many anniversaries, are facing struggles, or simply desire a stronger Christian home, these lessons are written to encourage, challenge, and strengthen your marriage.
Remember, every great marriage is made up of thousands of small daily decisions to love one another as Christ has loved us.
Our prayer is that this study will strengthen your home, deepen your walk with God, and leave a spiritual legacy that blesses future generations.

I want every lesson to end with hope. We don’t want couples leaving feeling defeated—we want them leaving believing that Christ can transform their marriage.
