The Night Scene of The..
The Night Scene of The Spirit of the Dead 1 Samuel 28:1-25 The world of the occult is a dark, strange, and dangerous world. It is dangerous because it seduces people to put their trust in false prophets instead of in God.Mediums, spiritists, sorcerers, psychics, palm-readers, fortune-tellers, astrologers—all these and a host of other false prophets claim to have the power to predict the future and change the destiny of a person. The world of the occult promises to look into the future and to change the future for a person, causing good things to happen that will benefit the person. But the tragic truth is, no one sees the future but God Himself, and no one can bring permanent deliverance and peace to the human soul but God Himself. No person can snatch or free any of us from the bondages that enslave us in this life and doom us to death—no one except God Himself. In the end, down the road, the world of the occult will lead a person into despair and hopelessness.Regardless of how smart we may be; regardless of how long we may have been saved; or regardless of how high we may climb on the spiritual ladder; we are still capable of making foolish decisions. This is the lesson we learn from the night scene of the spirit of the Dead.
