WHEN YOU CAN LOOK BACK AND SEE GOD. This message is about looking back over your life and realizing that God has been faithful through every storm, every heartbreak, every struggle, and every battle. David was not speaking as a young shepherd anymore—he was an old man who had seen God bring him through giants, caves, betrayals, failures, and fears. And after all those years, David could still stand and say:”Yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken…”I want to reminds us that God’s people may suffer, but they are never abandoned. Hard times do not mean God has left you. Sometimes the waters get deep and the fire gets hot, but Isaiah reminds us: “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee…”Not IF… but WHEN.I want to show you how God’s faithfulness lasts through every season of life. He was faithful when you were young, and He will still be faithful when you are old. Some of us can look back now and see times when we should have fallen apart, but God carried us anyway. But the greatest truth in this message is this: your greatest need is not money, success, or comfort—your greatest need is Jesus Christ. Matthew says: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness…”One day life will be over, and the question will not be how much money we had or how successful we became. This is a reminder that through every season of life, God keeps His promises, Heaven is real, eternity is coming, and Jesus is still the only hope for this world.
