WHEN MEMORY MEETS ETERNITY

WHEN MEMORY MEETS ETERNITY.In this message, we confront life’s most unavoidable truth—death—and the eternal reality that follows (Hebrews 9:27). While human memory longs to hold on to those we love (Malachi 3:16), Scripture reminds us that remembrance alone cannot save. In seasons of grief, we naturally search for comfort, and God draws near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), offering real peace rather than empty rituals. Ultimately, our hope does not rest in prayers offered after death, but in faith placed in Christ before death. Jesus declares Himself to be the resurrection and the life (John 11:25–26), assuring believers that death is not the end. When memory meets eternity, the decisive question remains: are we trusting religious tradition—or a living Savior?
