We are saved by grace — God’s unearned, undeserved kindness.God planned salvation, God provided salvation, and God offers salvation.II. THE STEPS OF SALVATION. Though salvation is God’s work, the Bible shows how a person personally receives it.1.Hearing the Gospel. 2. Believing by Faith. 3.Repenting of Sin. 4.Receiving Christ. 5New Birth. We are not saved by our goodness — we are saved by Christ’s sacrifice and our faith in Him.III. THE SECURITY OF SALVATION. Once we receive Christ, we are kept by God, not by ourselves.Because salvation is from God, based on Christ, and sealed by the Spirit, it is eternally secure. Salvation is from God (the Source), received through faith (the Steps), and guaranteed forever (the Security). Understanding this truth gives us confidence, peace, and joy as we walk with Christ.
