Spiritual liberty was purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ. Both liberties come with a responsibility that every generation must protect.Freedom has never been free. For 250 years, brave men and women have sacrificed their lives so America could enjoy the blessings of liberty. But as great as that sacrifice was, there is an even greater freedom that was purchased at an even greater price—the liberty that Jesus Christ bought with His own blood on Calvary.In this message, we will discover that every generation has a responsibility to protect the freedoms that others have purchased.As we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary of Independence, we will honor those who gave their lives for our nation’s freedom. But above all, we will remember the greatest sacrifice ever made when Jesus Christ gave His life so every sinner could be set free forever.The question for every one of us is this: Will we preserve the freedoms others purchased, and have we personally received the liberty that only Jesus Christ can give?
