Armageddon itself will bring about the climactic days of human history, the very point at which Jesus Christ returns to earth to slay the antichrist. Armageddon will end the great tribulation, the distress and anguish of those horrible days. Jesus Christ Himself will put an end to the horrors of war and the terrible wickedness of people, put an end to rebellion against Him and the cursing of His holy name. All sin, wickedness, and evil will be erased from the face of the earth, and Jesus Christ will set up His kingdom on earth.
