Life in the Neighborhood_05 Matthew 25:34-40 Loving Jesus means personally helping those in need.This is how our Identity in Christ affects life in the neighborhood.We are surrounded by opportunities to meet basic human needs.We need to see our neighborhood with eyes of compassion as Jesus see them. To help all of us live out our Identity as his born again believers, Jesus told a parable that takes us to Him Judging the nations as He sits on His throne to separate sheep on the right and goats on the left fore judgment.Jesus Explained that when they were serving others in the neighborhood in need, they were really serving Him. A caring spirit can go a long way toward opening hearts to receive Jesus. Providing the basic needs of others provides us a platform to share the gospel with them. Christian neighborhoods should lead the way in modeling that kind of care and concern for others.
