Life in the Church_02 1 Peter 4:7-11 Identity. Most of us struggle with our identity at some point in life. Not knowing who you are can really mess’s up where you are. Jesus changed me, and now my identity is wrapped up in Christ.: God has already given us everything we need to be obedient to Him. We don’t need to pray for more of what God has given us; we simply need to do more with what we already have. : We are created by a perfect God who knew our names even before we were born; the world often suggests that we are somehow inferior if we don’t live up to a certain standard.When we love and serve His body, the Church,we love Christ.We all need to serve one another through prayer.We can serve one another with love and Hospitality.We also need to serve one another through our spiritual gifts. Many people have had tough experiences in Church that have caused them to question its importance for their lives.The same as with the family of God and our jobs, we commit ourselves to loving, forgiving, and getting better together.That’s who our identity in the Church portrays us as Christians.Its not about the individual, we serve His body and fellow believers the Church.
