Lesson 12 – Biblical Steward..
Lesson 12 – Biblical Stewardship – Honoring God with Our Resources.1 Corinthians 4:2 ;1 Corinthians 4:2 KJV In my bible study, we explored the biblical principle of stewardship, which teaches that everything we have ultimately belongs to God, and we are entrusted as caretakers of His resources. Our responsibility is not ownership, but faithful management of what He has placed in our hands—our time, talents, finances, and opportunities.Drawing from 1 Corinthians 4:2, we see that the most important requirement of a steward is faithfulness. God does not measure success the way the world does; rather, He looks for consistency, obedience, and a heart committed to honoring Him in all areas of life. Faithful stewardship means using what we have wisely, responsibly, and for His glory.Malachi 3:10 emphasizes the principle of giving, specifically tithing, as an act of trust and obedience. God challenges His people to bring their tithes into His house and promises abundant blessing in return. This is not merely about material gain, but about demonstrating faith in God’s provision and prioritizing Him above all else.Ultimately, biblical stewardship is an act of worship. When we manage our resources according to God’s will, we reflect our gratitude, trust, and devotion to Him. As believers, we are called to live with open hands, recognizing that all we have is from God and should be used to advance His kingdom.Faithful stewardship honors God, strengthens our trust in Him, and allows us to participate in His work through the wise and obedient use of the resources He has given us.
