Grasping God’s Appointed Time 1 Samuel 13:1-15In my message, you will see the contrasting responses of King Saul and his son Jonathan. While Saul’s impatience led him to disobey God’s appointed time and take matters into his own hands by offering a sacrifice, Jonathan, on the other hand, demonstrated faith and obedience to God. Despite the challenging circumstances, Jonathan trusted in God’s timing and acted accordingly. This passage underscores the importance of waiting on God’s perfect timing and following His lead, as Jonathan’s obedience contrasts with Saul’s failure.King Saul’s failure to obey God at the appointed moment cost him his destiny. He acted in his own timing, choosing to do the wrong thing, and in doing so, he forfeited his purpose. His heart was fixed on himself, and his actions reflected that misplaced focus. But Jonathan, his son, displayed an entirely different heart. Jonathan trusted in God’s timing and leaned on His strength. When faced with a daunting challenge, he didn’t rely on his own ability or strength, but believed that God could work through him—no matter the odds. He trusted that the Lord could bring victory, whether by many or by few.How can you seize your divine moment right now?
