DON’T JUST START THE RACE— FINISH FAITHFUL! 2 Timothy 4:6–8 KJV The Apostle Paul approached the end of his earthly life with three powerful declarations: “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”I want to examine three essential goals for every Christian: fighting the spiritual battle through Christ’s strength, faithfully FINISHing the course God has assigned, and holding fast to the truth of God’s Word.Drawing from Paul’s final testimony, the message reminds believers that Christian faithfulness is not measured merely by how enthusiastically we begin, but by our continued obedience to Jesus Christ.I want to encourages weary believers, challenges those who have grown spiritually distracted, and points the lost to salvation through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.God has not called us merely to begin the Christian life. He has called us to fight faithfully, FINISH the course He has given us, and hold fast to the faith until we meet Jesus.
