5-Day Devotional: God Is Omnipotent. Isaiah 44:6-9,21-28 KJV It’s sometimes difficult for us to see God’s power when our prayers
aren’t answered as we would like. It’s not that God is asleep at the
wheel. He has a longer view of things than we do.
God moved Israel forward through His power. He contended for
them, encouraged them, and reminded them of His unlimited
power. There is only one God who is supreme, omnipotent, and
fully capable of doing anything He sovereignly chooses to do.
God’s omnipotence means:
• Nothing is too hard for Him
• Nothing is beyond His control
• Nothing can stop His purposes
He is:
• The only true God
• Greater than your fears
• Stronger than any idol
• Powerful enough to redeem
• Faithful to complete His plan
You can rest in this truth today:
The God who holds all power is the same God who holds you.
